DETECTIVE PIKACHU- REVIEW

GAME OF THRONES: Winter is Here

I think I’m repeating myself when I state that this season was by far the best of them all. A statement one usually makes after the current Game of Thrones season finale, but that’s it, the sixth installment took it out of the park.

So brace yourself, spoilers are coming, though Winter is already here.

CER1

Yes, our friend Jon Snow not only raise back from the death like the Azor Ahai prophesy chanted, but he manage to be the true King of the North, praised by all the houses with Stark’s loyalties.

The Starks are back, or well, what’s left of them. Rickon didn’t make it through. Bran is too busy killing Hodor, ruining lives and being the Three Eyed Raven, and Arya of course is on her assassin spread.

But still, Jon and Sansa managed to bring Ramsay Bolton to his knees, with some help from Little Finger. So… here we are, the Starks are back and yes, Jon actual name is Jon Targaryen Stark, confirmed on the season finale with Bran’s vision. One can wonder, would Bran keep quiet about that or will he let Jon know that he’s actually the one with a fair claim for the Iron Throne? We’ll see about that, I can picture Jon saying something like “I’m not interested”, hope he fights for it.

collage

Jon praising and rising aside, this was a very feminist season. Queens all over the place, women of all ages kicking it. Not only Cersei is now the Queen of Westeros, after Tommen suicide, we also have Daenerys in alliance with Olenna Tyrell, the Sand Snakes of Dorne and Asha Greyjoy to take the seven kingdoms. But it’s not all royalty, Arya managed to have “no name” and became a skilled assassin, crossing out names from her list, ejem. Walder Frey (hell yeah!), Sansa is trying to be an “independent” woman with her killing Ramsay and all, and even a new little girl in town is raising eyebrows, Lyanna Mormont, toughest than most men in the North. We can also mention the poor girl that’s protecting Bran all over the place, while he still keeps killing people by stupidity. And don’t forget Brienne rescuing Sansa, though we actually don’t know where she went on that boat, hope she doesn’t get lost like Gendry.

Yet, this is the look overall of season six, but, where does everyone stands now? Let’s analyze a little:

The Lannister’s

Well, the Lannister’s are pretty much fucked up, if you’ll ask me. They’ve lost all allies. When Cersei decided to blow up the High Septon, with the Tyrell’s inside, Tommen then committed suicide and that’s it, no more Tyrell’s (Olenna) supporting Lannister’s. They’ve also lost the North, all houses are with the Stark’s again and there’s no more Frey either, since Arya killed him after Jaime Lannister left. So… what do they have? The Mountain. That’s it.

1

Hell is rising towards them, not only three Dragons, a fleet of more than a thousand ships, trained assassins jumping through walls (the Snakes), but I think that Cersei major threat it’s still Arya, she could infiltrate on Kings Landing and serve the wine she drinks. In fact, I think that Cersei final scene would be sitting across Arya in her room, talking with her and admiring who she has become, after all, Cersei and Arya are pretty much alike, but then, Arya kills her with wine I think. It’s ironic, the Queen Mother since season one has been always drinking wine and she’s too much of a big character to kill her ugly, she probably dies by wine.

11

There’s also a theory stating that Jaime would kill Cersei, but I don’t think so, in spite of the prediction she got as a child, she won’t be killed off by her brother. It’s only fair that Arya do it, two powerful women in a face-off. Though, Jaime’s corner would be a little trouble when he realizes that Tyrion is sailing with Daenerys, the look on his face it’s going to be EPIC.

The Stark’s

Jon Targaryen Stark is now the King in the North, as it should be. But it’s not that simple. Assuming that he found out that he’s the true King of Westeros, What will he do? Knowing him, he’ll probably decline. But still, plenty of cards playing here. They still have a snake Little Finger on Winterfell stalking Sansa, asking for retribution, one can only imagine what he’s capable of.

0

On Arya’s side, I still think she won’t came back to Winterfell until she finish her list with Cersei, so that’s why I’m not including her on this plot. Jon on the other hand, has the white walkers on his doorstep, so that’s more of a major concern for him than to ride off to claim the Iron Throne.

12

The Dragons

I think the actual key on Daenerys storyline is Varys. He put it all together for her: Tyrion, The Tyrells, The Snakes, though the Greyjoys came on their own. I still think that Tyrion is the missing piece on this puzzle, that the writers has to solve, it has to be revealed that he’s the Mad King only living son, half Lannister and half Targaryen. And I still think that Cersei knows this and probably, wicked as she is, she would reveal this to Tyrion when she sees him riding with the Dragon Queen, actually his little sister. I expand on this theory here.

22.gif

Though the story of Daenerys Targaryen is something I’m not too thrilled about, she lost all the respect she had when she back off from the fight on taking Westeros and then flew off in her dragon leaving everyone behind. She kinda lost the fair claim of the Iron Throne when she did that, Jon Snow is more loyal than her and even Tyrion. But if this theory of the imp being half Targaryen came to be true, he’s the actual King. So, we’ll see…

The White Walkers

On the cold zombies end, it was pretty weak and weird this season, they’re even closer but did not appear on the finale, and that’s odd. They could rip off Sam’s end, which we actually don’t care about, being probably important to the plot that he has one valkyrian sword. Though it was interesting to be a witness on how they were born.

6.gif

Season Six had many rises and several flaws, but still it was pretty good in argument. We saw some characters back like the Hound, others that died stupidly like Osha for instance. No one cared about Maergery, Tommen and Rickon’s deaths. With Ramsay justice was served.  And don’t get me started with the “Hold the Door” situation… damn.

We can only hope that the two remaining seasons, with seven episode each, bring full closure to every storyline and character as they deserve. Writers cannot leave anything hanging, it has to make sense. That’s with Tyrion huh? Keep that in mind.

Winter is finally here.

GAME OF THRONES: The Three Dragon Heads

Finally the moment has arrived.

I’ve been dueling with this theories for some time now, but now it’s becoming clear that it could be truth in them.

Game of Thrones with all its madness and politics has a certain poetry within, this was confirmed last night on “The Door” episode with the hold the door situation, though it was sick as hell, the meaning of it all was dark but beautiful.

I’m not going to spoil “The Door” episode, so you can chill now. This is about something else, the theory I’ve gathered through many seasons and storylines, naming it “The Three Dragon Heads”.

My theory, merged with many fans, explain the real remains of the Targaryen clan.

We know the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. She was rescued as a new born along with his brother Viserys, on the verge of Robert Baratheon’s revolution.  Placed in hiding by the Spider of course, he confirmed this. He’s the Targaryen’s most loyal follower.

So, what does it has to do Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister on my theory? That’s simple, they’re the two Dragon heads that remained.

We all know, not for the series, but by plain logic, that Jon Snow isn’t Ned Stark’s son. He’s his nephew, son of his sister Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen. We’ve seen the tower were Lyanna was kept (in one of Bran’s visions) and we are pretty sure that she died on child birth.

The “R + L = J” equation explains that Jon Snow is the only living son of Rhaegar Targaryen, Daenerys older brother.

He, in spite of being married and had children with Oberyn Martell’s sister, got Lyanna “kidnaped” and that’s what started Baratheon revolution.

Some of us think that it really wasn’t a kidnapping and they were in love. But still, she was Robert’s beau, so… blood had to run.

And that’s the reason Ned came back to Winterfell with a baby boy. He couldn’t reveal that in theory this was the last Targaryen alive, so he took the blame and mark him as his bastard, Jon Snow.

jon-snow-alive.jpg

Another thing that firmly confirms that Jon is one of the three Dragon heads is the fact that he came back to life in blood and light magic, like the prophesy Melisandre was telling about, Azor Ahai:

“There will come a day after a long summer when the stars bleed and the cold breath of darkness falls heavy on the world. In this dread hour a warrior shall draw from the fire a burning sword. And that sword shall be Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes, and he who clasps it shall be Azor Ahai come again, and the darkness shall flee before him.”

The sword is clearly Jon Snow’s blade, one of the three valkyrian steel ones left in Westeros. That he used to fight on the other side of the wall with the undead, defeating one of its leaders.

Like the Targaryen’s, Jon should be able to walk through fire harmless.

So, as explained, it’s pretty clear that Jon is one of the three Dragon heads.

But how does Tyrion Lannister fits to it?

Well, first of all, I think Tyrion is the son of Joanna Lannister and the Mad King, Aerys II Targaryen. That’s why Tywin Lannister hate him so much.

collage14.jpg
Joanna Lannister + “The Mad King” Aerys II Targaryen = Tyrion Lannister

This Targaryen folks loved to populate the globe. And even though, the Lannister clan was an ally of the Targaryen’s, the Mad King didn’t see eye to eye with Tywin Lannister.

In fact, Tywin hated him. One of the reasons could be, Tyrion. Other reason, well known is that he offered Cersei in marriage to Rhaegar Targaryen, but the Mad King said that she wasn’t good enough for his eldest son, so he married him with Oberyn Martell’s sister. I’m guessing that’s why Tywin took to his heart that the Mountain raped and killed her along with Rhaegar’s children.

The Mad King didn’t respect Tywin, maybe he was in love with Joanna or simply he was mad as a cow, but still, he didn’t.

The Targaryen genetic stream is an incestuous one, in fact, besides Rhaegar, I don’t know how many of his clan have married outside the circle. But still, even though there’s no prove that Rhaegar’s children with the Martell’s were somehow ill and we know Jon Snow isn’t, there’s a pretty good chance that Targaryen’s genetic mess could bring a dwarf to the world.

cersei-and-tyrion1.jpg

Also we have the fact that in spite that Cersei being a resentful woman, she was made evil, wasn’t born that way. So one cannot explain with logic her hatred towards Tyrion since he was a baby, we can recall Oberyn telling that story.

I think maybe Cersei somehow found out that Tyrion was her half-brother. Perhaps she heard her parents arguing about it and then began the hatred.

If we aim to the fact of unmeasurable hate, after the supposedly Targaryen extinction, Tyrion was the only remaining with a fair claim to the Iron Throne. Tywin and Cersei knew this, since always. That’s why they were focus on getting rid of him in any way possible, without raising any brows to it, at the eyes of Westeros, Tyrion was a Lannister.

This fact became pretty obvious with the Joffrey assassination and all the trial by combat nonsense.

Peter-Dinklage-as-Tyrion-in-Game-of-Thrones-Season-5-Mercy

Another clue that points out to Tyrion, is the remaining presence of the Spider as his sidekick. The Spider risked everything to rescue the dwarf from jail and where did he took him? To Daenerys realm, his sister.

I think the Spider and his birds, learned somehow this, the reason Tywin hated Tyrion so much and Varys is smarter than everyone in Westeros.

Wildfire_explosion.jpg

I can point out too that Tyrion, as his father (The Mad King), used Valkyrian Fire to fight Stannis Baratheon on the Blackwater war. It’s a pretty long shot, but still, it counts as a clue.

When he met Daenerys there was instant chemistry between them, like a big brother to his little sister.

tyrion lannister and dragon game of thrones.jpg

And the last thing but not least important that reveals to me that he’s possibly the third head of the Dragon, is that, Dragons. Tyrion manage to tame Daenerys Dragons and that’s something only a Targaryen could do. Pretty much like Harry Potter talking with snakes and revealing he was also a Slytherin.

So, there you go, the Three Dragon Heads are: Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion. And also, they merge two of the biggest houses of Westeros, the Stark’s and the Lannister’s.

house_targaryen_by_azraeuz-d62ummg

Though, ironically, the fair claim to the Iron Throne is for Tyrion. He’s the Mad King’s only remaining son, Daenerys is his little sister and Jon his nephew.

With time, I hope we learn if this was true.
