Stating The Magicians is Harry Potter, it’s wrong.
The Magicians not only has an awful Twilight cast, but also it has weird threesomes, sex, drugs, alcohol and a wannabe Jesse Eisenberg main character.
But still, even though it sucks in major aspects, the story it’s great, you have to get over the cast to enjoy it.
You can say that’s more like Narnia tales than Harry Potter, but I understand you think that cuz our male protagonist thinks himself as the Undesirable N°1, in fact he is, but for other reasons.
Saying all this, if you can bare it, watch it. Really good storytelling, creepy as hell and the season 1 ending was over the top.
Aaron Paul’s The Path it’s simply AWFUL. I don’t know why I’m still watching, I guess I’m waiting for someone to kill his wife.
It sound pretty violent on my end, but seriously, this is the worst cult series that I’ve seen. Or maybe the better, since cults are annoying as hell.
I took the time to watch it because the trailer sold it pretty well, but it takes too much to unveil and that drives anyone crazy. There’s no longer a rule on TV on when to trigger the Climax, so I don’t get why they’re taking so long.
Maybe skip it for now and when it ends its first season, I’d give my final veredict.
The Family, even though doesn’t have that much of a remarkable cast, besides the mom and the neighbor. It’s a suspense/ thriller unitary show that promises.
I highly recommend watching it. If I say much, I can spoil it.
