Se nos va un año más y lo que podemos decir es que el 2014 estuvo repleto de buenas producciones, tanto en el Cine como en la Televisión.
No solo el caso de ver reflejado el cine de autor en mega producciones de Hollywood, sino la premisa de tantas buenas películas de acción y entretenimiento, que se convertirán en clásicos instantáneos de repisa.
Por su parte la Televisión, como lo ha probado en los últimos años, no para de sorprender. Este año nuevamente fue el de la pantalla chica, claramente rompiéndose la brecha que siempre ha existido con su hermana mayor. Ya no hay límites en la Televisión, no todo es un sitcom o una serie policíaca a lo Miami Vice. El 2014 trajo no solo el escándalo de Sony y lo apresurado de ABC en cancelar series que no vivieron su potencial, sino también nuevo material y nuevas temporadas de shows que mejoran a medida que avanzan.
El 2014 fue el año de #breaktheinternet y se puede decir que la rompió generando nuevos hitos que perdurarán con el tiempo. Drama, Ciencia Ficción, todo tipo de Comedias, Romance, Política, Acción, Super Héroes, Biografías, Historia y pare de contar, son los géneros más desarrollados y mezclados este año que termina.

La Academia acaba de anunciar la lista que queda de MEJOR PELÍCULA EXTRANJERA, reducida ahora a nueve (9) candidatas:
Es cierto que Tim Burton y Michael Keaton tienen proyectos fuertes actualmente como Big Eyes y Birdman, pero cada vez que se sientan en una entrevista, la conversación rápidamente se va a la posibilidad de una secuela de Beetlejuice.
Keaton confesó en Febrero que el iba pendiente de la secuela si Tim le decía, en Octubre confirmó que estaban esperando un guión, pero recientemente Burton acaba de confirmar que Beetlejuice 2 viene y tendrá muchas caras familiares de vuelta.
Burton respondió a la pregunta sobre si dirigirá una secuela “Oh sí” y a si Winona Ryder iba a regresar respondió “Oh sí, si si si”, múltiples veces.
Tim trabajó nuevamente con Winona en un video recientemente para The Killers y dijo “Trabajé con ella [Ryder], no la había visto desde hace tiempo… y fue tan genial. Ese tipo de elementos significan mucho para mi. Michael [Keaton] y ella… ese personaje, los extraño, hay una libertad sobre esos personajes que amo”.

Walt Disney Pictures ha revelado los posters oficiales de su nueva película live-action, CINDERELLA. A estrenarse en el 2015. Los posters incluyen a Cinderella, el Príncipe, la Madrastra, Griselda, Anastacia y el Hada Madrina, con un cast del nivel de Cate Blanchett y Helena Bonham Carter.
Las primeras imágenes oficiales de la tercera entrega de la franquicia de Peter Jackson, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, revelan las batallas más importantes y momentos dramáticos fundamentales en el film. Estrena el 17 de diciembre de 2014.
